TGUK 以外にも、Alex がかかわった音楽を聴いてきたんだなぁ。
Vagrant Record → Curb Appeal Records から移籍(?) して
いまはもう、TGUK メンバーのそばにはいないのかもしれません。
でもわたしにとって、Alex は永遠に6人目のkid。
昨年からつづいているReunion Tour にも遊びにきたはず、と勝手に信じてます(笑)
Tobin was one of my first climbing partners.
He was one of the boldest, most talented, driven climbers ever, and a first-class human being.
The stories are legion and shocking–and mostly true.
At one time he was regarded as the best all around climber in the world, having soloed the North Face of the Matterhorn in Levis, seconded the Eiger Direct, put up the Super Coulier on the Dru, free climbed Astroman, climbed the Shield, and tore up the Himalayas–all in a few years.
And that was in the late 70s.
That guy was a force of Nature.
